As part of the Big Hoot 2022, 50 ornately decorated owl sculptures, featuring designs celebrating all things Suffolk, will be scattered throughout Ipswich showcasing the wealth of artistic talent of the county and beyond, as part of the biggest free art event in Suffolk which attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors to the town.

Our Owl – ‘Feeling Hoot Hoot Hoot’

The Two Point Zero team are excited to be a part of this icon local event raising valuable funds for the St Elizabeth Hospice. We have partnered with artist Jo Burrows who has created the design for our owl ‘Feeling Hoot Hoot Hoot’, we can’t reveal too much about him yet but you can follow Jo’s progress on Instagram and Facebook @mylittlepaintpot.

Jo has a very personal connection with St Elizabeth Hospice after her father Ralph spent his last weeks in their care.
“Dad was admitted to the hospice in October 2020,” Jo explained, “at a time when there were so many restrictions in place they really made his last days as comfortable as possible. We were also able to visit him which was such a comfort”.
We felt that the personal story behind Jo’s involvement added a poignant element to her proposal and of all the amazing artists we were presented with it was the combination of Jo’s personal motivations and her eye-catching artwork that really caught our attention.
Jo’s owl is also a further nod to her dad, incorporating a variety of his favourite things into her design.
