This year we are very proud to sponsor a ‘Big Hoot’, one of the giant owls making up a part of the Ipswich Art Trail raising money and awareness for St Elizabeth Hospice.
We are feeling very inspired by the event and want to help the hospice raise as much money as possible. We also want to get as many people as possible involved AND leave a lasting legacy of our wonderful owl, ‘Feeling Hoot Hoot Hoot’. So we have decided to launch a writing competition – and we need your help!
THE COMPETITION:
We want your owl-inspired stories, poems and prose (maximum 500 words).
Maybe your owl loves computers and technology? Or maybe he’s ‘feeling hoot hoot hoot’ and is trying to cool down? Perhaps he is trying to find the best place to perch in Ipswich? It really is up to you….
The entries, chosen by our judging panel, will then be included in a book with illustrations and artwork by our dedicated artist Jo Burrows (of My Little Paintpot) and available during the Big Hoot event
